Didn't Trout say he wanted to win years ago or was that something he just recently stated? Another thing to consider is Ohtani would be much more focused in the media if he played on the Dodgers. The angels are the red-headed stepchildren so yes, he is huge and a lot of people know about him but that would be magnified even more an hour north. Maybe he doesn't want that much attention.

Trout is becoming more part of the problem than the solution.  I don’t feel bad for him not making the playoffs any more but I do feel for Ohtani.  Fragile Mikey needs to focus on staying healthy and playing like a star again.  If he sits tomorrow and then plays in the ASG that will tell us all we need to know about what’s important to him.

Feels like the 90's again for me with regards to Angels baseball. Pretty much irrelevant and mainly background noise

I’m not watching the game, but I checked the box and see they’re getting no hit again.  That’s nice.

I feel like gangbanger cholos should not have a nice team.  It kind of bugs me that the Dotchers are good, mostly for this reason.
