To be fair, Claude has been great offline. We chat all the time.

I think with Pujols and Upton gone, and with Arte making investments in this team (I'm guessing an Ohtani extension is next), I don't really see anything that Claude could go after.

He's been pretty optimistic despite the way the team has played of late.

So you’d be willing to bring him back with the proviso that he stop trolling?

If you thought he was smart a couple weeks ago, and now you don't, what does that tell you?

A) That I was wrong about him before.

B) That I am wrong about him now.

C) That he's not as smart as I I thought two weeks ago, but also smarter than I think now.

I'd say the percent chances of the above are something like 10/20/70.

But....venting is fun.

I was actually just going to say that you shouldn’t judge things in two-week increments in baseball.

Two weeks? How about two innings?

Haha. Ok. Here’s my list of things he could go after:

Our losing streak

Rendon

Syndergaard

Loup

Tepera

That we are still paying Upton

Arte and the stadium situation

Callaway

The civil suit

Ohtani wanting to play for a winner
