It was glorious.  Except for the Colorado first goal that is.  As you can tell by my comments.  They looked really good and confident.

Colorado better get it's act together.  That's 8 points they gave away.  If you aren't careful, you could be the Rams this season and miss the playoffs.

Yeah, there’s really no reason to invite cheap shots. The coaches should say something to him.

Comtois needs to step up his game. Otherwise, he looks to be the odd Max out going forward.

I mean, they have time. Give him longer to max out his value. But, if he doesn’t start showing more, he looks like a trade candidate for another ‘needs a change of scenery’ guy.

Ok, looked at those three trade scenarios over. Outside of the first round pick, the trades might be doable.  Although I highly doubt the Ducks would do the Kings one, it would suck pretty hard if Gibson turned into Cy Quick everytime we face him.

The reality is that Gibson probably falls in the Lindholm category - his best years are going to be when we don't need him. When we eventually need him, he'll be past his prime and we'll be wishing we weren't paying so much for him (Silfverburg).

He's going to be traded. It's just a matter of getting to the point where his contract length peaks with his value to another team.

Once again, writers!? I don't remember which guy it was, but the statement was something like 'he'll probably be a top 6 defensive man'. Really? I mean way to narrow it down. Like, not the bottom 7th guy that sits in the press box until someone gets hurt?

- It's Lacombe. What does that even mean? If Dostal plays in the NHL is he going to be a top 2 Goalie? You know, like not the college kid who plays in an emergency.

that's actually a pretty big pat in the back for Benoit.  On the ice for a 2 man disadvantage.  He's getting more and more important duties on the D.

That's pretty impressive of the ducks to kill a full 2 minute 2 man penalty kill.  Even more impressive I think is the same 3 were on the ice for the entire kill.  At least Rico was on for the full 2 minutes.
