Ah, Walsh. I think what Toby said is part of it, but mostly that they like the Duffy match-up against lefties better. I mean, Walsh is really bad against lefties (career .199/.226/.377), and basically elite vs. righties (.307/.376/.566). But I agree that they should probably give Walsh a chance to improve vs. lefties.

He's sat twice, once vs. Martin Perez and once vs. Framber Valdez, who he went 0-3 against in the first game. He was 0-3 vs. Perez lifetime. So maybe it is a match-up thing - and maybe he'll start against lefties he's had better luck against.
