There are things that you can infer from watching or from understanding who Trout is over ten seasons. He’s always been quiet and does not love the spotlight. I wouldn’t consider those leadership qualities. He can lead by example, of course, but he also hasn’t been on the field.

And you have no idea how he leads in the clubhouse. I have no idea either. You can grab the greatest leaders in the world, and it doesn’t compensate for shitty pitching.

It will be interesting to see how Rojas does, and how they get his bat into the lineup. I suppose he can get starts in a variety of places, but no one place. Can he play a decent 2B?
