I've read Scar Tissue and one story that sticks out is Anthony Kiedis changing his mind from signing to Sony's Epic label to Warner before they recorded Blood Sugar Sex Magik after Mo Ostin congratulated him on a great deal with Sony.

They nearly became label mates with their friends in Pearl Jam considering Jack Irons drummed with them and even got Eddie Vedder the job as singer through mutual friendship after Andrew Wood died.

Great book. Him and Flea have had crazy lives. Nice of Keidis’s dad to let him screw his girlfriend.

"Our deepest condolences go out to Tim, Cristin’s family and all those whose lives she touched as a friend and teacher," the Giants said in a statement shared on Twitter.
