He's our 2nd best SP prospect. Arguably our best.

At the time I thought he could help us more in relief this year and then we could stretch him out next year. I like the idea of the right type of young starter coming out of the pen and then transitioning to the rotation.

And now with Ohtani, Sandoval, Suarez, Barria, Cobb, Heaney and Detmers we have a seven deep rotation but still need help in the pen.

If Cobb and Heaney are traded things change but I have a feeling at least one of them stays.

And a 2.30 overall ERA, by just subtracting that bad 1/3 inning in NY, which would put him high up in Cy Young balloting at that pace.
