I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that this team isn't clutch.

If it makes anyone feel any better the Rays had a chance to win it in extra innings with Longoria up and the bases loaded/no outs, and they didn't score after Longoria hit into a double play.

Yea, but by then there was 2 outs. Albert had to get that runner in from 3B with 1 out there to tie it up, and instead he goes up and K's. Putrid

Yep, the least Albert should be able to do there, especially when he's getting elevated fastballs, is lift one keep into the outfield. And it's not like it even needed to be incredibly deep with Bourjos on 3rd.

 

Certainly would have been nice if Trumbo could pick him up though.
