So I checked out that deli, Gandolfo's.

The menu online said the pastrami on rye is $11.99. I got to the restaurant and it's $13.99. With chips and a drink it was like $18.

Insane.

Sandwich was really good though.

Unbelievable what prices are doing right now.

Yeah, my family has been going to the one in upland my whole life! I’ve tried to find anything similar in San Diego (and the Bay Area when I lived up there) but I can’t.

Doesn't Phillipe's (SD) have a market in front of it? I know they don't have a deli but I love that place too.

I think there is a place in little Italy called Mona Lisa but that’s just like pasta and cans of tomato sauce. At least what I can remember, I was like meh.
