By not providing games to broadcast, outside of natural occurrences like rainouts, MLB is probably in breach of contract. That would be a good storyline for you to hunt down with the Fox Sports executives.

I asked Maria Torres of the times if players got paid and here is her response.

I don't know. Players aren't paid for their work in the spring, so there's that. In a different case, wages were cut when the strike shortened the season in 1995.

Based on the above, I think salaries will be reduced one way or another.
