GO ANGELS!!!!

Go Patrick Sandoval!!! Throw strikes and dominate as long as you can!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! FiveThirtyEight gives the Angels a 56 percent chance of winning tonight!! Ain't seen that forecast often lately!!!!

Angels elimination number in the AL West is 7. The Rangers' e-number is 8, down from 10 oh Tuesday.

The Mariners officially died today in the AL West. They will not be missed. (I got 17 fantasy points from Paxton.)

Nice game from Sandoval. Will be really stupid if he gets pulled at 84 pitches.

Hate this gutless managing style.

truly a gutless managing style...they. need to grow some balls! this is the best for pitchers to figure it out espcially when we are out. I wouldn't even care if he gave a grand slam, just for him to out and field the environment is a big for him

Heaney is an established starter. Sandoval is a rookie who perhaps is up too soon.

If we were playing for something, I would agree about taking him out.  Let him roll out there and see if he can get a quick inning.  These guys are learning on the job.  What a better way than to face the lineup a third time through when it doesn't matter.

Fair enough. You could also argue that since we aren't playing for anything, why risk sending him back out there?

I don't necessarily agree with the move but I understand it.

This is exactly how I feel, with the possible addition of, “why not let him leave on a high note”

Ausmus has no problem trying to destroy Buttery's arm. But won't let a guy pitching a career game go one more inning. dude has been garbage, real question has anyone actually seen him do much in the dugout either than eat and split his seeds?

All I'm really surprised that Buttery hasn't gone to the Il with the way he's been used.

A reliever is much easier to replace than a starter.
