I liked Scioscia btw but he had his faults.  

I think Ausmus is following the playbook word for word so far.  

Mike used to have his own game plan.  Not one overly dictated by a spreadsheet, but I have no idea if this is really true.

I'd love to know Mike Scioscia's real thoughts on everything that transpired - but I doubt that ever happens.  He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would write a tell-all book or do that kind of interview... but I'd love to know what he's thinking.

I think he took one for the team....(maybe not the best way of wording it).   But, I think he liked Billy enough to let him try something different without making him the guy that didn't retain Mike Scioscia.   Say what you will about the dude, he was always a team first guy -- both as a player and a manager.
