Cleveland has just completed a four-game sweep of the M's with a Yan Gomes walk-off 3-run home run in the 10th inning, his second homer of the game.

 

Seattle has now lost 5 of their last 7 games.

 

On a side note, Cleveland is 15-3 in the month of May.

cleveland will end the season with fewer than 80 wins.

They could have won 3 of the 4 from Cleveland but luck/whatever didn't go there way .... except this last one ... that one was just sad. Completely sad.

 

Their first series loss in 7 total series. 

 

Should be a fun 2 game series of 2 terrible teams.

No. He has no place being behind the plate ... and next to no place being beside the plate. At least the other black hole (Smoak) had a decent series.

 

And we should have won this last one .... we had the final out in our clutches ... but Tom dropped the f'ing ball. Series was cursed. Ever since we lost the 15 run lead during that one game years ago in Cleveland.

 

As originally state ... Cleveland is insanely hot this month so far ...

They were really shaky in the bottom of the 10th.  Pretty terrible error and then boom goes the dynamite.

Smoak has been amost impressive lately.

 

As cynical as I am about the M's, there is improvement this year.  Just really tough to see it fall apart so badly this series after some good play the last month.  

 

Montero needs to abandon catching. Go somewhere ... anywhere ... and focus on hitting. Study pitchers ... etc. He looks like he has no clue whats going on at the plate ... well except against the Angels .... Montero seems to mash them.

That really doesn't mean much. I would rather that the Rangers cool off while our team goes on a tear. The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim, but I can hope.
