Question re: Ohtani

I seemed to recall a season that Don Drysdale had in the sixties, where he hit seven homers. And I was right.

1965. Seven HRs. 23-12 record. Led the league in games started and, of course, hit batters. 2.77 ERA.

Really, Ohtani's HR and SB numbers are even more impressive when you consider this self-imposed ban on playing for three straight games per week, when he was still pitching. The guy is barely going to reach 100 games.

If Ohtani becomes a starting pitcher again in 2020, and adheres to this ban, he will probably play in even less than that.

But I agree that the premise of this post is a little esoteric, to say the least.
