Wood remains one of the worst hitters I’ve ever seen. Cowart is just a bench guy.  Worse things then that.  McPherson looked good when he was healthy.  A monster of a human.  

I think the comp is wrong tho, all haven’t been great for different reasons.  Cowart was never regarded in the same class as Wood and McPherson.  Both of whom were very highly rated prospects.  Cowart is just one of a bazillion 1st round picks that ended up not being good mlb starters. Nothing remarkable about that.
