This has to be Butcher problem.  Don't remember having this problem when Black was the pitching coach

 

Yet there are people on here who defend Butcher to the end and say that we're expecting him to make filet mignon from table scraps.

 

Our catchers have taken a lot of heat in recent years for their CS stats, but honestly they have little shot at throwing runners out. I have seen Chris Iannetta make throws right on the bag with a quick release and they're still too late. Iannetta has thrown out two of 33 attempted base stealers, an .067 percentage. If he had that bad of an arm, he wouldn't have been in the majors for as long as he has been.
