One of the few downsides to putting a great defensive shortstop at 3B: he's not that tall.

Yep. The bat reverting back to being crap wasn't unexpected, but you'd think he'd at least bring them some top shelf defense. Gotta hope the eventual move to 2B once Kinsler is gone can help salvage the remainder of his contract. So far, it's looking like a big swing and miss for Eppler.

He’s not a 3bman. He’s playing out of position and I think it’s also affecting his hitting.

Unless the Angels batters start producing runs, what happens with the bullpen is irrelevant even if it performs perfectly.

Coming into today, they have 7 hitters(currently on the 25-man roster) with OPS under .700. They have another in Calhoun who was just placed on the DL for his overwhelming awfulness as a hitter. Cozart is closing in on joining the sub .700 OPS group by the end of the night if he brings them another 0'fer performance
