Kole Calhoun vs Record for Lowest Batting Average Season

Recommended Posts

Calhoun's poor performance at the plate, not to mention lack of adjustments have pained me.

Does this lay on his shoulders? Or is nobody including Hinske trying to help him?

He's a strong guy. A shortened up swing with a lighter bat looking to hit the ball where it's pitched at would really do him a favor.

Is there a reason him and Trout aren't talking swinging?

So confusing.

There isn’t a single scenario in the world outside of a fans head where the hitting coach hasn’t tried to help a struggling hitter like Kole.  There is no doubt that Trout or Albert or Simmons have talked to him about his swing or about the shift or about a lighter bat.  If it was merely about the shift, then he would have still hit 4-5 home runs.
