Nice win today. I as a die hard just as much as all you guys are looking for any glimmer of hope. This maybe it. Bull pen, our stars all hitting, starting pitching doing it's job. Man it's great to be talking positive after a game.

I always think in terms of series victories.  I don't need the Halo's to win 10 games in a row.  Just begin winning series.  Win 2 of 3 for a month and we're at mid-June, at .500 and developing momentum.  With 3 1/2 months left.  There is still time brothers and sisters!!

Like I said in the game thread, if we can win tomorrow, that is 2 series in a row and 5 out of 7. Its a step in the right direction. The bull pen has looked a little better, the SP outside of hideous Joe Blanton has been better and Trout is coming along. I'm just worried that we dug ourselves a whole to deep too soon.

 

Is it safe to hope that Josh is heating up? 3 homers in his last 7?

This was my first game at the stadium this year, and the Trout avoiding being doubled up b.s. play (seriously how did that happen) it all felt like they were clicking. 4 big homers, Hamilton's was just beast. Vargas was lethal, just a great win. Hopefully a win tomorrow and second straight series win.

great game tonight ! This is how most of them should be - I too am worried about the early hole that we dug - here's hoping things keep moving forward in a positive way

What it comes down to is winning series especially against the teams we are chasing. If we win a lot of series but lose 2 out of 3 to the Rangers and A's then it doesn't matter.

We need guys to get healthy. I have to believe Pujols's foot injury is to blame for his unspectacular play, and Weaver, Bourjos and Burnett have been big losses.

If they ditch Blanton, get Madson/Jepsen back healthy, Get Weav back, and Hamilton and Pujols start raking, I could see them challenge for the 2nd wildcard spot
