AJ honestly is a fine announcer, sounds calm, easily understandable. Commentary is relatable to both common and hardcore fans.

Yep, but some people are easily bothered and emotionally highjacked by an announcer saying bad things that are true about the Angels.  He tried to be funny saying it was an improvement giving up 6 runs in an inning versus his last time against the Yankees, but some Nancy’s have to be hurt by him.

he's been good - soft voice, personable. Gubi's voice is too hoarse and homerish for me.

He’s fucking terrible.  And I have no historical axe to grind.  He’s stumbling all over himself. His funny quips aren’t funny. He isn’t bringing much insight either.  He’s extremely uncomfortable in his delivery.

Not hurt, just annoyed. I think they could’ve thrown a rock and found a more qualified color guy, just my opinion. This game as a whole is just a disaster.

This is sort of rich man.  You get upset when fans on here are overzealous with their criticism.  We have announcers on national tv making fun of the team.  Mocking the manager and pitcher and a couple of us pointing out that it’s lame as fuck makes us “Nancy’s”.  Come on man.  Weak.  I can only speak for myself.  I’m not upset.  But it was pretty annoying.  Anyway. Over it.

since this game is out of hand, just curious who everyone's favorite angels announcers were?

I wasnt around for enberg so i'd say:

tv - ken and ken

radio - al conin (loved listening to this guy call games)

Rory Markas

and I grew up on Hud and Phys, so I loved them. I understand why people didn't though. I feel if I were older when I heard them call games I wouldn't have liked them
