If someone said, I'll give you $10 million to put the last part of the new World Trade Center down.  I would say F you, I'm not going up there.  

 

For someone afraid of heights, that video was terrifying.  And to think.  After connecting that piece.  Someone has to go up, and disconnect the crane from that piece.  Then those guys have to climb down.  

 

Whatever those steelworkers are getting paid, they are worth every penny.

There are 3 porta-johns up top for all your bathroom needs. I saw them mentioned on a local news clip.

Also, there is a moveable Subway restaurant that raises up with the construction so the workers don't have to come down until the end of the day.

I was thinking the same thing. I am terrified of heights. It was all I could to to walk to the window of the observation area of the Sears Tower in Chicago and look down for a few seconds before backing away. Even though I knew this was a video, I started to get nauseated watching it.

 

Worth every dime, they are.

That spire is stupid. If they want to make a building 1776 feet tall then actually make it 1776 feet tall. Don't stop at 1400 and then put a stick on top. That's cheating.
