Not Powerball odds but, yes, still a chance.

Minnesota is a better hitting team than I realized. And pitching is Detroit's weakest suit.

Minnesota will give the Yankees or the Red Sox a battle, as long as they dont start Colon (jk). It will probably be Ervin, I would imagine.

Cleveland will be very motivated tonight against the Twins, as Houston is currently pounding the Rangers and they're one game back of the Indians for best record in the AL, and home field advantage.

I expect the Indians to bring their "A" game and win these next two.

No, the Twins will lose out and the Angels will win their next 4 before getting no-hit on the final game of the year. They'll lose 1-0 in 15 innings.

The Angels have (roughly) a 50% chance to win the each of their following five games.

The Twins have (roughly) a 50% chance to lose each of their following the next five games.

Each event has to occur.

50%x50%x50%x50%x50%x50%x50%x50%x50%x50 =.00098 or 0.1%

I think the chances are 1 out of 1,024, but only if you figure each team has a 50/50 chance of winning each game so it is actually more complicated than this, since the odds of any team winning is not truly 50/50..
