The states and the courts

haha alright, so your argument is less against the idea of the EPA itself, and more for federalism. I could get behind that, but you would probably run into some interesting issues where environmental issues from one state affect another one. But, I mean, if you're fine with adding bureaucracy to the government, that shouldn't be anything that is unsolvable.

I aim to take away from federal authority and give it back to the states where it belongs.  Also, the more local the government, the better it works.  One size does not fit all.

Every dollar you send to DC you might get 10 cents back.

Okay, that was a low shot, but still -  economics dictates that the cheapest path will win out. That's WHY we like it. This isn't just civil engineering, this is life. So, what mechanism would keep the water clean here? The people being upset? Kinda like how that is working so well in Flint? Or like how its working in Mexico? I'm honestly a bit curious why someone would think that water would stay clean with 0 enforcement of regulation.

The EPA didn't save Flint? Color me surprised.
