RIP Joe Mannix

My first job in Television was to spot check QC television shows that would be sent across the states in what were called bicycle dubs.

I was promoted to 100% QC which required watching the entire show from start to finish and mark down any imperfections in the Telecine duplication master. The first show I did was Mannix, one of my Dad's favorite shows back in the day.

I was expecting this story to go somewhere.

Always enjoyed that show back in the day. Also had two albums of the soundtrack, music by Lalo Schifrin.

these are quite possibly my two favorite comments of this entire thread
