Mike Connors dies at 91.

Mannix was one of the coolest shows ever. The theme music alone is a classic.

My first job in Television was to spot check QC television shows that would be sent across the states in what were called bicycle dubs.

I was promoted to 100% QC which required watching the entire show from start to finish and mark down any imperfections in the Telecine duplication master. The first show I did was Mannix, one of my Dad's favorite shows back in the day.

Well, the show was 35-40 years ago. You were hardly watching it at the time.

The show ended in '75, so he wasn't even born.

You're right. My math was wrong.

Mannix ran from 1967-75, so he could have only seen it in reruns.
