Despite the negativity from some here the Angels have played three outstanding games since they came back from the break.

Weaver continued the trend with another excellent start going 7 IP and giving up only 1ER!

All of a sudden, the thought of Weave staying in mid 80s velocity makes it become very intriguing to offer him a one year deal for 2017, knowing that Richards is a question mark, Skaggs still hasn't pitched a full season at the MLB level, and Heaney is out until ST 2018.

And maybe offering an incentive-based one year deal to CJ Wilson
