I predict that the ship will hit the sand when no NBA team offers him a contract next year.  The facts are this: he's a 7 foot toad; played for 6 teams; is 35 years old and has little to no game left.

 

Will the Heat, Lakers, Bulls, Spurs, etc. waste a spot for him?  The answer is no.  The next level of NBA teams might, but no GM will want to have a distraction (which it will be) to a guy with no game, so they will pass.  When the Wizards don't want you, where do you go?

 

Then the media with have a shit-fit - "Gay NBAer Ostracized,"

It was certainly nice to see the Lakers play the role of the Washington Generals this season.

 

Hopefully this trend will continue for awhile.  I see no reason that it shouldn't.
