2006 and 2007 for the Angels he won a total of 7 games combined, then 2008-2011 he won a total of 15 games.  So for 5 seasons he averaged just over 4 wins a year.  In 2014 and 2015 he won 29 games which is nice, but his ERA was over 4 both years.  How many wins does that give you once you translate that to the American League with our offense?  

Lackey was awful for a long time as well.  

This is basically complaining that Kazmir was good again, it's silly.

If it were not for the injury plagued year & surgery that led to a missed season, Lackey would have a chance at 3,000Ks.

He will probally finish his career with 2,600 to 2,750Ks. His K/9 this year is 9.0 (111Ks in 110 innings).

All he has to do is pitch til he's like 45.
