Chris Iannetta has been, and still is, a significantly better hitter than we saw last year. He may not torture us like like Mike Napoli, but I can definitely see him having some very good at-bats against the Angels over the next couple of seasons.

JeDi on M's pregame TV interview about the M's first series against the Angels. He says he "enjoyed" most of his time with the Halos. He adds, "I hope I made most of my mistakes there and they won't follow me here."

I didn't bother to count them up as the at-bats happened, but Terry and Mark say Albert was 0-for-19 in Chicago. That puts him at .148 after 16 games. That's 6 points lower than Cron and 10 less than Giavotella.

Albert is a notorious slow starter, at least as far as his Angels career goes but .148 is a tad more than a slow start.

 

Hope he picks it up soon..like tonight.
