It's not a slow start for Blanton, Jerry. He's really not good.

 

Even though in his career he's been a slightly below average pitcher, his ERA is 3 points below above his career average so yes that would qualify as a slow start.

Yeah, for his career, his ERA is 4.42. I don't think it's going to continue to be close to 8. Which is good, because it he gets it back down to the mid-4s, he's going to have some really good starts.

Well his career ERA is 4.42. And we have good defense + a pitchers ballpark. With the rough start it probably won't happen this year but maybe next year.
