CNN Money hires Democratic Socialists to report that under Sanders, income and jobs would soar

So you'd be against something that would improve the lives of 99.9% of people, greatly transform this country, all for the sake of an ideological principle?

I'd be curious to see how you'd have a country of 300 million run without an income tax. How you see the crumbling infrastructure being rebuilt. Or, more practically, how you'd solve the issue in Flint.

By the way, I'm not saying that income tax is some kind of absolute and inviolable truth. But it is the system we live with. You've mentioned usage fees before, but I don't know if they would pay for all that needs to be paid for, or how we would transition from what we have now to a usage fee only system.

This doesn't benefit 99.9% of people AJ, that is what you do not understand.

According to that article it does, and this thread is supposed to be about that article. Why don't you read the article and tell me, if the economist's perspective is correct, how 99.9% of people wouldn't benefit?

Now whether or not the economist is correct is another matter. But in what you quoted, I was referring to if it were true.

Those damn East coast liberal academics, trying to use their high-falutin' ideas to confuse us and take our money.

From January 22,2016

A student-run debate club at the University of Massachusetts Amherst recently had so much difficulty finding a professor who could argue the conservative side for one of its events that its members had to turn to Smith College, a private liberal arts school eight miles away, to secure a scholar.

That’s saying a lot considering UMass Amherst employs some 1,300 faculty members.

The experience was the impetus for The University Union, a politically neutral student-run debate club at UMass Amherst, to launch a petition this month calling on administrators to offer more “intellectual diversity” on campus.

“We came to the conclusion that the petition was necessary because planning debates has been so difficult,” Owen Wiggins, a junior business management student at UMass and president of The University Union, told The College Fix in an email. “The diversity of thought among the faculty at UMass is so slim that we’ve had to ask professors from Smith College to participate in the debates we have planned.”

Why are those students so afraid of smart people?

It isn't about understanding or not understanding with AJ. He just hates non-progressives because that's a cool thing to do in the North East. I'm guessing he has a big beard and wears a backpack everywhere.

Exhibit A as to why I rarely bother responding to Adam anymore. His brain isn't capable of thinking beyond Orange County lines.

I read the article...it doesn't say 99.9% of people will benefit even if the economist is correct which he is not.

Dude your bitch ass responds to me all the time. I wish you'd take your self-righteous nonsense and go back to granolaland.

It would utterly transform our economy. They don't use the word "99.9%", but that would be the net result.

As for whether he is correct, that remains to be seen. I can't say for sure that he is right, but neither can you say he isn't.

....

You complain about Adam after what you posted?

Man you can be hypocritical.

As can you, mt.
