That was true until his last start against the Angels (April 5th- 7 IP, 6 hits, 2 ER, 1 Walk, 5 K's). I hope he reverts back to his old ways against Angels hitters.

More excuses from you and other Ranger fans. You guys say Hamilton's hits were lucky and Nathan's gift calls in the 9th inning were the right calls.

 

Before tonight's game, Holland's numbers vs. the Angels: 5.36, 1.39 WHIP, .282 BAA. After tonight's game, his career number against the Angels got even worse. He sucks against the Angels. I bet the Angel hitters will get "lucky" when they face him again later this year.

nathan got one gift call at the end but so did scott downs. those things even out.

 

and dude, holland sucked against a lot of teams last season and the year before because he wasn't using his changeup. he pitched a lot better tonight than his line suggests. he also lost his command after getting hit in the leg.
