OBP guys and 2016 Potential Lineup

The bigger question is how to maximize Pujols' hitting going forward.

Is batting him 3rd ahead of Trout hitting cleanup a solution?    Where he is sure to see more pitches in his zone than hitting in front of Cron, Freeze, or Murphy?

Trout shouldn't be nearly as fazed by pitchers pitching him more carefully, as Pujols seemed to be.

Great trade ideas, but we are limited in the asset department.  I would expect one trade, Santiago/Trop and I would expect one FA acquisition, maybe two.

 

I expect the Angels to explore a Justin Upton or Jason Heyward for the OF...

 

What I think we should explore:

 

Alex Avila behind the dish

Upton or Heyward for LF

Zobrist for 2nd/Util

 

I think we look to trade someone to fill one of those spots.  I also think we re-sign Freese.

Heyward's the big get, but I have a feeling he'll re-sign with the Cards. Sigh, what a good baseball player.

Sign Heyward for LF, Zobrist for 3B and then focus on pitching.
