North Dakota has the same voting power in the senate as New York, Texas, or California. Think about that.  Tell me, Constitutionalists, why that makes sense.

Your first statement is right, we have a house and a senate for a reason.  The second one is very wrong.  ND is second to last in GDP.  While they aren't losing money, the money they are making is a drop in the bucket when it comes to the US budget.  They are a non factor.

 

The problem with this country is the two party system and lack of term limits combined with the power given to special interests.

Because there are jobs?  Still doesn't change anything.  The population and number of jobs available pale in comparison to the deficits of other states.  Like I said, drop in the bucket.

Although I agree with the way North Dakota is handling their budget, isn't fracking a major reason for the job boost in your area?
