I’m not sure what’s worse, people filming their entire lives and posting it or the people that actually watch their videos.

UPS is cutting 12,000 jobs just months after reaching union deal

UPS will cut 12,000 jobs and released a revenue outlook for this year that sent its shares down sharply at the opening bell.

The company also hinted that its Coyote truck load brokerage business may be put up for sale.

The Teamsters in September voted to approve a tentative contract agreement with UPS, putting a final seal on contentious labor negotiations that threatened to disrupt package deliveries for millions of businesses and households nationwide.

Congresswoman Cori Bush investigated over misuse of security money – report

The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating the Missouri representative Cori Bush over the misspending of federal security money.

The department has subpoenaed the House sergeant at arms, the chamber’s top law enforcement official, for records relating to the alleged misspending, according to six sources with knowledge about the investigation, Punchbowl reported.

Bush, who has served as House representative since 2021, has not publicly commented on the investigation.

A member of “the Squad” of progressive female lawmakers, Bush is the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress, after her 2020 victory against the 10-term representative Lacy Clay. She held an event on Saturday to kick off her latest reelection campaign.

I thought they only investigated Republicans?

Their pay raise is causing the mass layoffs.

That's how it always goes. Labor is in demand right now and the company would rather secure their driver force than their collection of middle managers, analysts and marketing people. We are just trained to expect it the other way around.
