Shoemaker is way too inconsistent.  Between him and Weaver we have two pitchers where you never know what you're going to get

Heaney has got to replace one of these guys soon. I know he's been bad in AAA lately but he's pitching in the PCL.  It's time he gets a shot.

Weav with a 4.65 ERA while possessing a 4.45 K/9 and Shoemaker sporting a 5.24 ERA. Can't go all season with both of these guys in the rotation considering how weak this offense is.

Regulars at this point consist of Pujols and Trout. Everyone else is interchangeable.

What do you suggest? Unless Tropeano and Heaney are ready to pitch better, we are stuck with both of those guys.  Best case is 2 young SP get called up and immediately produce and we can send Weaver to the 5th spot and move Shoe to the bullpen. Worst case is a fire sale and we sign FA next year.

Gray had a 1.60 ERA coming into tonight's start and he's already 3-0 this season vs the Angels in which his ERA is 1.19 so yeah, I figured 2 runs would probably be the most they would score tbh. In any case, Gray has been insane this year so I wasn't expecting a win today anyway because Shoe likely would have had to pitch a shutout or allow no more than 1 run

That will be as soon as Dipoto releases him.  It's Ibanez all over again. Joyce is not 42 though so not sure what his excuse is.
