Middle of the order hitters not coming through

Giavotella will regress, I think he'll be perfect in the 9th spot to flip the lineup back around. While I agree, the lineup just have no depth or alternatives. You can either add a leadoff type and move everyone down or add a middle-of-the-order bat. The lineup scares me (and not in a good way).

Hes had a lot of good swings this year where he goes the other way and uses the middle of the field.  Hard to say that about Albert, he pulls every pitch with a passion and usually just grounds out softly to 3rd.  

 

Im not saying JG is a superstar or anything, but if you keep him at leadoff he will get some pitches to hit with Trout behind him.  And if his approach thus far is any indication, that might be a good thing.  Calhoun will benefit from Trout's high OBP because he will see more pitches from stretch, he will get more RBI opportunities, and we wont waste his slugging by batting him leadoff and in front of Trout.  

 

Actually I am saying JG is a superstar.  JG > Cano.
