Youngest 100HR/100SB | Trout Continues to be Amazing

This is a graphic I made to celebrate his accomplishment.  Before the season began I actually predicted he would hit his 100th HR tonight. He's the youngest to reach 100 HR and 100 SB 

 

AND 

 

the youngest to reach 101 HR and 101 SB. Thanks to Jeff Fletcher for finding that stat.

Trout is the most fascinating, electric, and yet most humble, player I have ever seen play the game. 100% effort and class all the time.

 

I am so glad he is an Angel.

 

My dad actually calls me at random times when I'm working just to tell me about Trout coming through again. He almost can't believe how our Angels have a guy that makes a significant impact in every game he's in, and most especially how guys on the rest of the team (especially Pujols) just don't seem to take a page of advice out of his approach.

 

We both think he is unreal, and there's really nobody else like him. The freakin' Angels better get him a ring!

This year he's going to pass Salmon, Grich and Downing to be #2 on the all-time fWAR list for Angels, behind only Jim Fregosi - who he'll pass next year.

 

In other words, Trout will be the all-time Angels fWAR leader sometime in his fifth full year.
