Does AW feel too much like a news feed than a forum?

I could, but I like coming here to read and discuss and browse from article to article. If we put them all in a different forum, it would clean up the main daily forum and would still allow those of us who want it here to have it and won't bother those who don't.

There are currently 6 posts from the OCR on my mobile front page in he main forum (20-25 posts?)

A total of 10 responses.

Hard to argue that these topics are loved and needed.

 

Love Alden, Digi and Fletcher all the same. 

 

That said, the fact that Fletcher contributes to discussion here and we don't need an over redundancy of news of stories that share the same titles, subject matter, it's for the best. 

 

We could see about having Alden and Jeff arm wrestle for the RSS feed here. Winner gets it.

For the most part news travels so fast around here that a thread gets started about a topic, before there is an actual article and auto thread that is created.

 

I see this all the time. There is little point in commenting on a news media article when there is already an active discussion thread on the same topic before it even hits.

 

I like the idea of a separate forum for auto-posted articles.
