has the org just awarded 2nd base to grant green? or is open to audition?

i have liked this kid in the samples i have seen of him at 2nd- imo he would prove to be a big hitting upgrade over hk. i think green was drafted 1st overall by the a's. if he were to get regular time at one position he would grow to be an above average defender. opinions?

A big hitting upgrade? I think Green has a lot to prove yet. Howie was very solid and an excellent defender. This isn't just about offense.

howie was great to the fanbase and appears to be a nice guy. i hope he rips it in the nl.

however,i wont miss my angry outbursts watching him hit into dp's.

from what i saw last year green would be at least an adequate defender at 2nd. i think its his natural position.
