Detroit Then and Now

I remember someone creating a thread on the old board showing an abandoned Detroit school with past and present images juxtaposed onto one another. I found something similar with a couple slideshows of the old Packard plant (no layered images though). It's amazing to see what happens to buildings when they are just left to decay. It's kind of sad really. I was especially taken back by how the fire fighters are under strict orders not to enter the plant and fires are left to burn for days inside of it.

I think the pictures were present day Detroit with pictures of Hiroshima past and present. Which says nuke Detroit so the urban renewal can begin.
