The Calhoun one drove me crazy.  The guy was 3rd on the team in HR's.  Let him swing!

KC's chances of putting that ball in play on a hit and run was higher than bunting it . smh.

I'm fine with the sac bunt when playing/needing only a run, but why do it when a lefty is on the mound and useless POS Hamilton is due up? You are giving away 2 outs there in that instance since Hamilton blows, especially vs LHP

Its like scioscia a need to put his stamp on the game, like he needs to make the victory "his.". He didn't pull this shit in the regular season.

he put a stamp alright....a mushroom stamp right on his players foreheads

LOL

If he pinch hit Cowgil for Hammy, maybe it made sense .

Way overrrrated and overused .

I would have let Aybar hit with frkn Hamilton coming up.

Please , like he was going to drive that run against a leftie.

If the Royals thought that with their speed..the Angels would be playing the A's now.

How many sac bunts did they have before they scored in the 12th?

I saw runners getting stranded all night .

Not sure...maybe 2 or 3

They scored a run in the 9th because of a flare, a sacrifice, a steal of 3rd on Norris and a fly ball to Reddick.

The sac bunt was a waste. The guy stole third . Would have easily stole second on Norris's arm.

We wasted Aybar and Calhoun tonight for nothing ( Calhound popped out; even worse ). Aybar having Hamilton behind him.

Probably. a 90% chance of that happening.

If you're going to steal 3rd, why not steal 2nd?

We didn't see sac bunts very much in 2014 because the team took care of business on their own.  Now that they are struggling, Scioscia is trying to play hero with micromanaging, except this almost always fails.

I can't remember many games where sac bunting has led to the Angels winning, can you?
