I remember somebody here saying that was bad karma and that the Angels would regret it.

I also remember somebody else (not here) saying the Aybar play and the light wave were bad karma.  I guess some people don't understand karma.

I have to agree with you Steve.

I am amazed at the parallels of 2014 and 2002.  Everyone certainly remembers our shaky pitching staff in 2002 and how much we looked forward to the game getting into the relief squad to shut down the opposition.  It seemed that the Angels would get behind, but the offense would put on some unreal comebacks before the World Series unfolded.  This year we had a crappy start with a shaky bullpen, which has now been stabilized and the offense picking up the team time and again - especially of late.

I make no predictions as to how this will turn out, but it has been quite a pleasurable ride.  having the best record in MLB for several weeks now isn't something none of us expected.

100% agreed, Bruce.

Best moment of 2014 IMO. Not bad karma because Rodney sent that message straight to our dugout unprovoked. It was almost poetic.

Albert may not be having a vintage St. Louis type year but he's been solid. Its things like this and his lesson that he taught to Puig that make him a lot more valuable to his team than numbers would suggest.

If Seattle makes it the playoffs and Rodney pitches at the Big A i could see the stadium heckle him pretty good. A crooked arrow thundersticks would be a good giveaway during that series.

Ironic enough, the M's have drawn closer in the WC race since then, going 27-18 after being 52-46 with that loss.

But they also have a .000 winning percentage in games in which Rodney's bow-and-arrow routine is used against him, while the Angels have a 1.000 winning percentage in those games.
