Warner Bros. Abruptly Just Delayed One Of Its Biggest Movies Of The Summer Until Next Year

Odd move.  I think a few were looking forward to it this summer.  Just opened up a week between Planet of the Apes and Hercules.

Bad reason: It sucks and is being buried to February

If the movie were good but needed time for the sfx, they would just delay it until the end of the year or next summer.  The fact it's being moved to February tells you the studio thinks this movie bloooows.

February seems to be best time to release movies these days because there's little competition. Lego Movie did quite well.

You can't really compare this to a movie like the Lego Movie because animated movies do well regardless of the time of year.
