I don't get it.  As far as trades go this one was pretty even and lacked major impact.  Green was a middling prospect with a good bat and no glove.  Callaspo is an average glove and bat that is MLB tested playing 3b.

 

Nobody got fleeced on this trade.

Don't be butthurt and clownish, the A's absolutely fleeced the Angels like they did to the Dodgers when they traded Ethier for Bradley.

i love the A's - but they are totally hamstrung by the league (and the giants really) to do anything.
