Its those kind of outs that we haven't had much this season. It seems when we need a ground ball to the right side to get a guy over to third with one out we inevitably hit a grounder to third or strike out. So I will take the run scoring sac fly to increase it to a five run lead in the 8th any day of the week.

I would have kept Skaggs in for the 8th, he has had a couple of nice and easy innings in a row and is under 100 pitches for the game, not only that his spot is due up first next inning.

Trout hit in the low .200s last year in April, had a much worse SLG% and striked out just as much. He's already better than he was last year in April, soon enough he'll start killing it and working walks.
