What made the Naked Gun/Police Squad movies so successful was taking actors known for dramatic roles like Neilson and Kennedy and placing them in comedy. They played most of their roles straight up as if each scene were writren for a drama and didn't overplay the humor aspect.

I have a bad feeling this is going to be about as good as a Pauley Shore comedy.

I still replay the scene in my mind when the Commissioner is addressing the crowd about the security precautions for the Queen's visit. Frank goes into the bathroom and still has his wireless mike on, which is open, You hear him singing, and peeing, and peeing...then he starts farting. Juvenile, yes, but fun.
