Who feels comfortable with DiPoto and staff choosing that tenth pick? The whole structure of this organization needs to be blown up and rebuilt. If DiPoto isn't retained how do we trust Dennis Kuhl to make a solid choice for the next GM? We need to hire guys from the Braves and Cardinals organizations. They are well run and always seem to have young arms ready to replace veterans.

This is one bad year not a decade. This team played very well in 2011 and 2012.  Didn't know that 2013 equaled a decade.

And 2010's 80-82 record, where they were never in any race either

2011 was fine, except for the 6-11 finish. 

 

The only difference so far between 1970-1973/1990-1993 and 2010-2013 is that those other two 4 year stretches to start a decade didn't yield more than 1 over .500 record in 1970-1973 and more than one .500 season in 1990-1993.

 

Anyone not disapointed with the past 4 seasons, must be very calm and cool.

of course people are disappointed, but I am sure others like myself don't care to see the same negative comments in every thread

I would rather be positive, cheer for the team for the remainder of the season and hope they put together a better team/management/personnel for 2014

Well said. I know I complain a lot as well but people on this board act as if I should just give up on the team for the next several seasons. Why be a fan or even bother with this team if that is how they feel.
