I don't believe I have ever been more wrong about an Angels pitcher than I have been with Canning.

Surely there's a better option in AA or AAA than Canning.

Youll be right about him the next two months, then wrong again, then right the final two months of the season.

His velocity being up is only helping the ball travel further.

Something needs to be done about these horrible early innings from multiple starters. Pitching coach has to focus on this problem. Or are most of these starters just not very good at executing their strategy and controlling their pitches?

They need to use Openers for Sandoval and Canning.

They're making Canning work. 58 pitches through three innings not terrible but not sustainable at this pace. He's hanging in there but the offense needs to wake up.
