What is more likely to happen in the next year?

I saw an article that mentioned $38M per year remaining but deferred to sport trac. Just makes it that much less likely he retires or is traded. May end up being one of the worst contracts ever if he doesn’t string something together.  Doesn’t seem like he has the desire to with a guaranteed contract while he already has a ring.

I voted for Arte selling the team but that's because I voted with what I want to have happen more than anything else in sports... sans Oregon winning a National Championship.

I think it would be 50/50 if it were arte sells vs. rendon retires but adding in the part about Rendon getting dropped swing it way in that direction.  

When Arte decided to keep the team citing reasons about his love of baseball etc I felt like he'd be around for at least 2-3 more years, but spending what they did, trading for who they did and still ending up with a near 90 loss season has to have taken some of the wind out of his sails.  

On top of that, the Rendon deal has officially become an absolute stinker adding yet another terrible decision to his rather impressive portfolio.  

My kid was recently studying ecosystems an a picture of a food web showed up in his book.  I chuckled to myself when my first thought was that it reminded me of the Angels org chart.  

I think Rendon has done enough (whether purposefully or not) to get himself his walking papers.  But I bet the team digs in on this one as long as Arte is still at the helm.  

So I think either both will happen or neither.

I see neither of those as very likely. Angels are stuck with Rendon so that leaves the nonzero chance that Arte sells.
