At least he only gave up one run.  Could have been a LOT worse.  Maybe he'll have a couple of quick, efficient innings now to be able to stay in the game for at least 5 innings.

ESPN only took 2 innings to get to the "Ohtani is being wasted" and "Ohtani should go to the posteseason with someone else" narrative. Actually longer than I thought it would take. It's not wrong but I think I'm going to have to listen to the Angels radio guys for this one tonight as they'll be having wet dreams about where Ohtani is going next all night.

I agree a million percent we've hurt ourselves with this. But we as fans all know and have known for a long time. But I've gotten to where I can't handle any takes on the Angels on the national level. Especially this year with it being Ohtani's contract year it's been extra brutal.
